I successfully washed Taran's diapers in the front-loading washer that came with our new place! I'm so proud of myself! I know this sounds incredibly silly, but I've never owned a front-loader before, so this was an accomplishment for me. Plus, these are exceptionally fancy-looking Bosch washer and dryer that honestly look like they ought to be able to clean the rest of the house all by themselves. (Alas, they don't.)

Now, I will admit that for the first few loads of clothing (before I got to the diapers) I had to keep looking at the manual and the quick reference card that's with it to figure out how to do it, but I now know how to use them! Woo-hoo!

I still can't believe these things conveyed with the house though - they're really expensive in terms of washers and dryers! (They work really, really well though!)

Okay, back to wading through my millons of boxes...

Alright! We just purchased a new washer and dryer too. I'm so excited but I won't be able to use them for a few months until we are done renovating the kitchen. I've never owned a front loader either so I'm pretty nervous about washing my diapers in in too!

Yay! I know I was excited when I washed DS' dipes in our new washer and dryer after we moved. It's funny how much CDing has changed me. I didn't care how they washed the clothes, but was totally happy they had a prewash cycle so I could rinse the dipes before washing them.
Congrats on moving into a new place. I hope you like it :)

We like it so far! Now, I'd be much happier if the boxes would just open themselves and the items in them hop into the right location, but that's just wishful thinking. ;)

And yes, I was very impressed that this washer had a soak cycle. I was worried about how that would work in this washer until I finally used it!
