I'm so excited! My baby was born on Nov 21 and her adorable butt has been in cloth dipes since she was done with the yucky poo. We have 12 "pre-fitteds" that my mom made for us - DH loves those - as well as 18 IPFs and 6 Euros. I think I'll try to get my mom to sew the Euros into fitteds too. They are very convenient and keep the business in the dipe really well. Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks to you gals for all of the information you've provided. It has really helped this whole cloth-diapering thing work well for us so far!

:) OK, here's the info: Claire was 7 and a half pounds and not quite 20 inches long. This is a pic of her wearing a Christmas fitted diaper that my mom made for her. We used infant sized CPFs and they fit her great. This one has a cute flannel outer layer to make it pretty.

How adorable. She looks so attentive, how old is she here? Is that a crossover tab on the wing? She must be way bigger than expected!

Wow, what a great pic! Like Leslie said, she seems so attentive and "older" than a newborn. I love the baby, love the dipe. :) Hmm...I noticed an unbleached PF and a BSWW in the background, too.

SO CUTE! How great is that, that your mom can sew fitted diapers for you! That's a cute holiday dipe (on a gorgeous little girl!) :)

Yep, that's a crossover tab. We really had no idea how big or small to make the diapers, so my mom tried to make them as adjustable as possible. You wouldn't believe the research she and my mother in law did on these (MIL made some covers for me)! My mom and my MIL were both pretty skeptical about the cloth diapering idea, but now they're all excited about making cute fluff. I definitely feel lucky!

Wow! Good eye! That is a BSWW and some unbleached IPFs in the background. Can you tell my house is a mess? We've been changing her in our bathroom while she's sleeping in the bassinet. Her cute little changing station in her bedroom that I just HAD to have set up before she was born is completely bare and the stuff is scattered about the house.

Claire is 6 days old in the picture. She's not usually so alert - I think she was trying to figure out why the camera would flash every time she opened her eyes!

Ooh she is so sweet! And aren't you lucky to have a Mom and MIL who can sew fluff!
