I don't know if it's that DH cannot remember to stick them together before putting them in the diaper pail or if they come apart in the wash and then stick to other things instead, but it doesn't matter. I've HAD IT.

So tell me about your favourite covers that snap, please! I have more Snap-Ez on order, but we use mostly prefolds, so I'm going to need more covers than the 2 ME Airflows and 1 FMBG cover we have.

I mostly have wool covers.. are you interested in wool or fleece or just PUL?

I have refused to buy anything with aplix because I hate the sound of it is so much.. think fingernails on chalkboard.. that's what it's like for me. I also knew we would have these laundry issues too!

I have heard excellent things about fleece covers from Calico Baby. I just have some of her AIOs, which are very well made and great customer service:

I have tons of suggestions for wool, but those are more $$ and not sure if you are interested in wool or not.

Hm... I like wool (I'm a knitter, after all ;)), though the only wool cover I've used was a Bumpy Wool. I'd probably just have to hang a big sign over the changing table saying "WOOL COVERS DON'T GO IN THE DIAPER PAIL."

So, I could probably try some wool -- tell me about your favourite. :)

I have not tried these myself, so take this for what it is worth but, Little Fishy has some really nice looking wool covers in stock right now.

The snap Bummi's are OK, but no where near as adjustable as the applix ones. Since my DH thinks that "diaper" means PF and Bummi's, we have 5 applix Bummi wraps! For wool, I have only a few, but I loved the Sugarpeas wool I had when DS was smaller, and I love my Celtic Wolf cover www.celticwoolcreations.com . I also have a Simon's custom cloth wool cover I like, and they are affordable, when she's open. www.simonscustomcloth.com I have also been eyeing the Cuddlewool covers at littlefishy, but since DH won't use wool, and I am back at work full time, I figured the three wool covers I have are plenty. I also just knitted a Ribby Wrap, from www.littleturtleknits.com which is pretty trim, for knitted wool. Its a wrap type soaker with buttons! And it is very stretchy, since its mostly 2x1 and 1x1 rib. Knits up in a few evenings! I'm definately making a few more of these when the holiday knitting is done.

I second the Celtic Wool and Simons Custom recommendations. FuzEasy from http://www.fuzbaby.com get lots of recommendations too. The FuzBombs from there cost more but are trimmer and thicker.

I'm trying to think of readily available ones so not recommending Kiwi Pie though they are very popular and well made.

Lots of folks seem to like wool covers from Sugar Peas, which are easy to get at retail stores like Natural Babies. See if there are any covers still in stock at Tykie Diapers; Ann was putting everything on sale and all her stuff is exceptionally well made: http://www.tykiediapers.com .

Lots of folks love the covers from http://www.loveybums.com too but the doesn't open that frequently.

The top of my list is Bizzy B Hive, but they are expensive, embroidered, and hard to get unless you stalk Midday Faire. But, they are just wonderful.
