it is like the front is too short. the back goes way up his back and even bunches a little. but the front is too short, and too wide. i dunno what i am trying to say... i can't just pull the back down lower because then the "butt" is between his legs. way too thick. they just don't fit right! i guess the problem is his shape? he is tall and skinny with a small booty and normal thighs. so i think maybe the butt is still too big and he doesn't fill it out, but the front gets short because he is so tall and long torso-ed?

help me skinny boy moms!

we aren't going to buy anything else. i just need someone to explain or commiserate! they looks uncomfortable and the velcro still meeting in the middle of the front makes the edges of the front slide down.

i guess i will have to take a pic. i can't explain!

(oh- covers include: proraps, bumpy, litewraps and even sometimes the PT FBs.)

If I had to guess, I would guess that his rise has outgrown the diapers. I think eventually, Kaya is going to have the same problem because she is so long torsoed, like her mumsy. It's actually kind of funny to see how she seems to tower over other babies when they sit down, but then you look at their measurements and they're either taller or the same height as her!

I know you say you're not buying anything else, but what about some nylon pull-ons, like the plain Bummi's whisper pants, or Dappi pants, which you can get at BRU for $4 for two pair? If you snappi your PF, they'd work great, and there would be less "fit" issues. very poofy, but they squish down under clothes well.

ya know, i hadn't thought of that! i have one bummies pull on that i just don't use because i wanted to sell it... but i think i will give it a try. we like to snappi because we have an icky poop man.

If the Snap-EZ diapers fit him well, why not try one of Ruth's nylon covers? I just got mine and they fit her great! I like how thin they are, plus they were very cheap. I'm testing them out right now during her nap to see how they work. I'll let you know.

ETA: I like how I can see her cute diaper through the nylon cover. :)

If its a print cotton outer, be careful, as I know your guy pees floods. The prints can wick, but the plain ones have been great in my experience, even when DH doesn't change as often as I'd like... Oh yeah, and I went a little crazy on the BRU brand/Dappi ones, so I have unused extras. I would send you one for free, since I could put it in an envelope with a $0.37 stamp, those puppies are so light. They are larges, supposed to fit 22-35 pounds or something.
