View Full Version : Quite OT - need wool washing help from the Dark Side

I have a pair of Haflinger boiled wool slippers.

Jonathan washed them, but didn't put them through the dryer long enough (he didn't want to wait up for them one night). Now they get really stinky, REALLY fast (like within 5 minutes of me wearing them).

They're brand new.

How do I get the stink out of the wool?

Can you just wash and dry them again? Maybe with some lavender scented Eucalan or Woolite :)

Yeah, I'd probably just try washing them again with Eucalan or Woolite. The other thing you can do is put the wool slippers in a plastic bag with a dryer sheet for a day.
