so far, the infant prefold is the ONLY diaper that has not leaked once!! yay prefolds!! (under a prorap cover, which is what i use for everything)

the pampers baby dry from the hospital were HORRIBLE. the pampers swaddlers that i have been using at night (hiding my face in shame...) are much better, but actually kinda small!! size one!! and we have had maybe 3 leaks. long story about our first night home when i had to sleep alone (dh was sick and had to sleep in the basement guest room) and i didn't have doublers yet so i went bonkers and opened the swaddlers pack in desperation.

the kissaluvs and prefitteds need doublers and then they are SUPER.

so now i have 18 two layer hourglass shaped hemp doublers with a microfleece top that fit perfectly into the kissaluv 0's and go very well with the prefitteds and infant prefolds, too. and no more leaks!!

Yay for prefolds! Prefolds (snappi'd) and covers were also our most reliable combo and the snappi'd prefolds only occasionally leaked onto the cover. In fact, the K0's leaked more often than the prefold, but once again, no leaks out of the cover/diaper combo.

Glad you have a great set of diapers that work for Dylan. :) And yay for getting out to the park with him. It was gorgeous up here in MD, as well, although not quite 60 degrees (55 degrees).

I totally agree about the prefolds and proraps. I tried sooooo many things, but that was our leakproof system for the first 4 months. We did prefolds and a MOE doubler for nights until about 10 months. They are super absorbent.

And yay on taking your two boys to the park. That is so great!!
