Getting sick of CPFs, maybe want to try fitteds?

14 months of CPFs and snappis and boring white Bummis covers (with two SP fleece thrown in to spice things up). TIME FOR SOMETHING NEW!

I'm thinking of maybe trying fitteds. What are your favs? Reasonably priced and easily obtainable are preferred, as I am no hyena. What covers do you usually use over them?

Okay, reasonably priced fitted that are easily obtainable are probably sugar peas fitted (naturalbabies and lilbunz carry them, I believe) and Tykie fitted (http://tykie.cutsie.net/). Several of us are trying some other fitteds--you can check out the mission immpossible thread for suggestions of "unknown" fitteds. :)

I use mostly wool and fleece covers, some of which I like better than others. I think I actually prefer wool soakers.

Loveybums: I just got a sherpa dipe from them, and its so stretchy and cuddly, and I think less than $15, incl shipping. www.loveybums.com

Sugarpeas: I prefer the side snaps, and unless B is huge, a medium should still fit him well. You can get plain or cute prints. I think someone has these on sale. www.sugarpeas.com for retailers, which include www.naturalbabies.com and www.softclothbunz.com

Tykies diapers: www.tykiediapers.com , I think that's the URL. Very nice side snap dipes, cute prints, always available.


Covers: We mostly use the boring Bummi's you are familiar with in our house. I have a new Calico Baby fleece cover which is very nice, and was only $11! Bumpy Nights are nice, Forrest wears XL, although he can wear M Bummi's over a PF, large over his fitteds.

You might want to check the swap group. There are often dipes there. If fact, right now there may be fitted's in B's size for sale, cough...

i am a prefold gal, but i do love my pockets and i just got a sugarpeas fitted. so i would recommend getting a snap-ez pocket and a sugarpeas fitted.

Well, I am a prefold gal myself. I do have 2 sugarpeas fitteds. I like them well enough, but they only get used if I run out of prefolds on wash day. But, they are pretty nice.
