I am thrilled with the quality of the product and the fast, friendly, just plain wonderful customer service from Tara at DaisyGirl Designs.

I tried them for the first time last month. They were comfortable and very effective – my favorites of the different kinds I tried. I decided to order a full stash, but I wanted a few changes to the pattern.

Tara worked with me to re-design the pattern so that it would fit better and sent photos of the fabric choices available so I could fully customize my order. We sent several emails back and forth and she was always quick to respond (faster than I was in most cases). Even with the changes I had requested, she was able to ship my order in about 1 week.

I love the product. The one piece design makes them easy to use. I like the “wedgie-free” design of the back of the pads which also helps to prevent leaks. I went about twice as long as I should have before changing one of these pads (flannel topped all hemp maxi) on my heaviest day and had no leaks. I’ve only tried the all-hemp inners so I can’t comment on the flannel or flannel-hemp options. My favorites are topped with microfleece, but I have no complaints about the flannel topped pads and the prints are very cute.

The price is reasonable for the quality – the packages and bulk-order discounts are a good deal, and she currently offers free shipping for orders over $20. (I got the free shipping with my first order when I tried 4 pads of different sizes and fabrics.) The customer service is friendly and FAST.

I definitely give this WAHM my highest recommendation.

Does she sell fleece topped pads yet? I was at her site yesterday and I didn't see it mentioned, but someone here in a previous post said she was going to add that as an option. I have the HH pads (which are fleece topped) that I really like, but I would love to try some of the Daisy Girl ones if she has them with fleece. I liked the shape of them.

She currently offers 4 colors of microfleece -- they're the last swatches on the fabric list, after all of the flannel ones. Also, she now has a photo of the backing fleece colors under all of the top swatches.

So you can get them with fleece on the top that touches your skin? I had thought she uses the fleece on the bottom (the part that is against your underwear).

Yes. :) She uses fleece on the bottom of all the pads and she uses your choice of flannel or fleece on the top, against the skin. I'd just recommend if you get a fleece/fleece pad that you choose different colors to make it easy to tell which side is "up."

Another thumbs up for her microfleece topped pads! I have them in both winged and wingless design, Super & mini size. Sooo comfy! And yes, she is great to work with. I'm always asking for some new design or way to make them, and she's always up for making something new!

Another recommendation for Tara. She's awesome!! I got my whole stash from her, an assortment of sizes, with and without wings. Every pad I got was a flannel/hemp combo, and worked extremely well. Tara was sweet enough to search for and order dog theme fabric for me (the poodle and beagle prints currently listed on her site).

I'm thrilled about the flannel, though, unlike everyone else! :) I'm allergic to fleece, so the cotton flannel is wonderful. Unlike everyone else, I didn't notice any decrease in my pain level - still got wicked migraine, cramps and back-ache. But the mama cloth is sooooooo much more comfortable, and saved me at least one source of discomfort. I've been sure I am allergic to the stuff in the disposable pads, too, but hadn't figured out an alternative until now. I cannot believe I endured the discomfort of disposables for so long.

BTW, I am a WOHM, and I found it easy to use mama cloth even on weekdays. Just stuffed the used pads into the DaisyGirl Designs wet bag, and rinsed when I got home. No stains!

I'm going to give these a try. However, how do they stay attached to your underpants? Well, I am guessing that those with wings wrap around and snap underneath, but how do the wingless stay put?

A combo of tight undies and the flannel board effect of the fleece against said undies.

Really? Do they bunch up? Do they slide around. I think I would prefer wings. What about others? With or without wings?

I've only used pantiliners (from Shandelle, velour, umm), as I haven't had AF since Sept of 2002... But, I prefer wings, I'm too ditzy to remember I'm wearing one, I'm afraid they'll end up in the potty.

I've only tried the kind with wings. I too, fear that I'd forget I'm wearing a pad, only to have it end up on the floor. And unlike scratchy paper pads, cloth pads are so comfy I CAN forget that I'm wearing one.
