i am so in love with my brand new hemp front snap size one sugarpeas fitted with firetruck print! yuuuuuummmmmmmy. i was so bummed that i had JUST washed diapers so i have to wait to use it until i can get it washed a few times!

a friend gave it to dylan as a gift (she asked me what i might like for a baby gift so i told her a friend splurges i would love to have... she gave him the SP fitted, a tube of burt's bees diaper ointment AND a pair of blue puppy robeez that are so cute i could eat them!)

so i will post a pic soon. LOVE IT.

and question- when you have a grow with me kinda dipe like that... do you fold down the top row of snaps when you put it on? doesn't that leave little snap marks on their skin? i am confused, but it was a GREAT fit when i tried it on him. just wasn't sure what to do with the "extra" room.

You do fold the front down when you use it. Noah has never complained about the snaps. I'm glad you like Sugarpeas. They are my favorite!!

I folded the tops down on the outside, so the snaps wouldn't be by the baby. I don't know if you're supposed to do that, but that's what I did.

Glad you like the diaper!

Oh, and btw, your newborns could not beat up my newborn. :P (9 lbs 9 oz, 21 inches) Congratulations!

Yep, I loved those until Fory topped 16lb or so (pretty fast!) He never minded the snaps, either, as far as I know. Then again, wet and poopy dipes don't faze him either.

(Oh, and he was a member of the big boy club at birth, too. 9lb, 11oz, 22in. But he's a pacifist, or was that pacifier-ist? ;)))

oh man, fory had dylan by one inch and schuyler by 1.5 ounces... i think my boys would have to gang up on him to ensure victory! of course, that would be cheating... i guess i will have to teach them to be pacifierists, too! (LOL AT YOU!! too funny!!)

i hope this guy won't chunk-out as fast as schuyler did! schuyler was 16 pounds at about 12 weeks and a serious chunky monkey!! i will just have to use it a LOT until then!!

Just lurking in butts since we are sposie people. I do love to see pics of all the adorable CDs. Anyway, I had to weigh in. These kids all sounds pretty big, but Sean was 10 pounds, 5.5 ounces and 21 inches at birth. Are we in the running for tough babies??? :)

Yep. He's a pretty happy-go-lucky little big man-- def. a lover, not a fighter. Still big (about 28 pounds) at 15 months, but no longer off the charts. :)

I think Sean wins the big boy contest so far... I think we need to start a club, Sean, Isaac, Forrest, Schyuler, Dylan, oh, and sweet Gracie (Anna's girlie), who I think may top all the boys in weight!

What about my neighbor's kid? He was only 9 pounds when he was born, but at 10.5 months, he's around 27 pounds (and probably 30+ inches). :)

ETA: and he's one of the most laid-back babies I know! Is there a connection? :P

There is a HUGE baby in Sean's daycare class. He makes Sean look almost small and this guy is only 13 months old. He's got to be at least 34 inches and probably closing in on 30 pounds. He is also *incredibly* laid back. Some of the teachers call him "the philosopher" b/c he often just hangs out and takes it all in as if he is deep in thought about everything going on around him.

That is what I did too!

Liza, I just sold my dozen that I had for sale. We should have hooked up and worked out a deal :)

schuyler was pretty darn close to 34 inches at 13 months! he was 36 inches at 18 months. but i think he was only 26lbs. maybe 27? definitely not a philosopher, though. he was all over the place!

Hee hee, this makes me think we should start a big baby thread/poll over in the lounge. But maybe people might be offended? I wouldn't want to do that!

So out of curiosity, can you already see the difference in personality/characteristics in your two boys?

One of my friends has two girls and the first one is much taller (way off the charts), and has always been more active. She got teeth way earlier, was crawling and walking way earlier, and is sweet but always all over the place. Her second one is 8 months old now (I believe), much shorter, can crawl and roll, but doesn't really want to, can stand with support, but doesn't really want to, has no teeth, and just enjoys sitting there and looking around at people or playing with toys that are near her. She's got to be the most relaxed baby I've met recently. :)
