AIOs can be tricky. Some tend to wick badly. I think most people have the best luck with solid PUL AIOs.

I have one Angel Wrap that I really like; it is basically a fleece lined shell with a snap in soaker. I love that you can change just the soaker, so basically the same diaper can last through several changes.

The other ones I have are Very Baby AIOs. I haven't had them for that long, but in my limited experience, they rock! DD wore one for a LONG time the other day and it held up beautifully. They are super trim, and gets raves from almost everyone who has them.

HTH!

i have a heavy wetter and have tried many aio's and cant find one that works. i have tried differend materials and also hemp aio's recommended for night time and yet again no luck. i stick with my pocket diapers for my heavy wetter and get wonderful results when stuffed with a hemparoo and micro fiber towel.

I haven't found an AIO that works very well for us, so finally stopped trying. Except the Prorap AIO - but it is so ugly, and takes forever to dry. I think that you'll have a hard time finding a leak-proof one for your heavy wetter. You'd be better off staying with a pocket diaper (which, once stuffed, is used the same as an AIO).

I really like Angelwraps. Knit or woven doesn't matter because it's the outside print. Knit gives it a slight more stretch but sometimes it's hard to find a cute print. Wovens offer you much more choices, the colors can be much more bright and vibrant, some wovens fade quickly. You didn't ask but I'll mention that I really dislike flannel because it gets pilly and ugly really fast.

I tend to agree with Lori. I do love my Angelwrap AIO, but I need to put a microfiber towel to make it last a decent amount of time. And if I don't manage to get to it soon enough, it does start to wick.

I haven't found an AIO that is as absorbent as a pocket, which is the majority of our toddler stash.

I have an Angelwrap fleece lined AIO and it leaks badly - one wetting and it is leaking around the legs. I haven't used it in months - it just isn't worth the risk.

I do have about 8 Daisy Doodles bikini cut AIOs with a lay in soaker and extra doubler (both hemp and the soaker is topped with suedecloth) and while these aren't our most absorbent dipes, they make it 1.5 to 2 hours on a regular basis (they are super trim so they are our "outing" diaper or used under more fitted pants). The only time I've had leaks with them is in the carseat once or twice with a huge pee. I never use them for naps either. They have definitely drastically improved in absorbency over time (and I have spare sets of soakers and doublers so as long as they are just wet I can get two uses out of the shell).
