So I did a diaper swap with Leslie of KindheartedWomen. She was going to send me a seconds, but didn't have enough seconds hemp to make it. So instead, she sent me one of her son's classic cut KHW large diapers. It's all hemp, so I know it's going to be absorbent enough for Kaya (we tried it out this afternoon, but it was only on for 2 hours, so we didn't really test it out). But the best thing is the fit. I LOVE the fit. The classic cut KHW diapers fit babies with chunky thighs extremely well. I'll get pictures next time, but Kaya was being a bit impatient, so I didn't want to take pictures and then hold her back down to get a cover on her (I'm too much of a paranoid to leave her coverless--maybe when she starts walking). Leslie told me that they mostly do the trim cut, but they do make the classic cut with special request.
Leslie is super nice, and I hope to get more diapers from her in the future. There are so many nice front snapping fitted diapers out there that don't fit Kaya very well (e.g. sugarpeas)--I either have a sag problem, or her thighs just cause the diaper to dip down in front (not sag exactly). But I actually prefer front snaps because they're so much easier than side snaps for me. These diapers are perfect! They're front snap, and with the large ones, I can actually use the first set of crossover snaps, which means they'll fit Kaya for a long time!
Yay!
