View Full Version : I think I discovered a fitted that I love...

So I did a diaper swap with Leslie of KindheartedWomen. She was going to send me a seconds, but didn't have enough seconds hemp to make it. So instead, she sent me one of her son's classic cut KHW large diapers. It's all hemp, so I know it's going to be absorbent enough for Kaya (we tried it out this afternoon, but it was only on for 2 hours, so we didn't really test it out). But the best thing is the fit. I LOVE the fit. The classic cut KHW diapers fit babies with chunky thighs extremely well. I'll get pictures next time, but Kaya was being a bit impatient, so I didn't want to take pictures and then hold her back down to get a cover on her (I'm too much of a paranoid to leave her coverless--maybe when she starts walking). Leslie told me that they mostly do the trim cut, but they do make the classic cut with special request.

Leslie is super nice, and I hope to get more diapers from her in the future. There are so many nice front snapping fitted diapers out there that don't fit Kaya very well (e.g. sugarpeas)--I either have a sag problem, or her thighs just cause the diaper to dip down in front (not sag exactly). But I actually prefer front snaps because they're so much easier than side snaps for me. These diapers are perfect! They're front snap, and with the large ones, I can actually use the first set of crossover snaps, which means they'll fit Kaya for a long time!

Yay!

I have been emailing her yesterday and today because I like the looks of the cotton diapers that are "coming" to their site. I'm so glad to hear that their dipes fit your daughter. DS has chunky thighs, too, so I hope they will work for us, too!

I'm glad to hear you like the dipe. I just got 6 of her newborn dipes this week to use with the new baby. They are super cute and look so well made, but it will be awhile yet until I have a baby to put them on!!!

Heh, heh. Hmm...so I guess I should snag them for Kaya's younger sibling as they come up on swap, huh? ;-)

(And no, we not TTC'ing for at least another year...)
