Getting the baby's measurements

Waist. Where is my son's waist? Is it at his belly-button?

Thigh. Would this be way at the top, where his leg joins his body? In other words, where the leg opening of the dipe would close around it?

Rise. This one I never understood. Where should I start/stop measuring? Should I try this one when he is naked, or over a snug diaper?

Thank you, thank you! I'd be even more appreciative if someone would come hold the little wiggle-wart while I try to do all this!

Hmm, lets see:

Waist: I'd say just right below his below his belly button (maybe 1" below) - that's where most of dd's diapers hit her.

Thigh: yup - what you wrote :)

Rise: I measure over a diaper that I feel fits dd well - measure from where the back of dipe hits to where the front of diaper hits.
