I'm in 7th heaven right now!!

Woo-hoo, the days of the evil laundromat are over!! Our new Kenmore HE3 washer/dryer is up and running and I am so tickled I can hardly stand it. I did 3 huge loads of laundry today. That probably would have been a minimum of 6-8 loads in my old dinosaur. Now to tackle the diapers. I need to STRIP!! The laundromat wasn't getting them clean enough and they are stinky. I'm going to wash everything because they've been sitting in the drawer for so long. Who knew laundry could be fun??

Oooo! I'm so jealous! I think DH spent $100 second- or third-hand for the set we have now, back when he was a single guy. Needless to say, they're not equipped with the latest technological advances, but the darn things won't die! We've been eyeing that HE3 set and I'm kicking my washer every time I use it in the hopes that it'll give up the ghost soon. :)

Woohoo! That's exactly how I felt when our old machine died and we got the new one. I was even happier when we decided to get the new dryer (a couple months later) even though the old one hadn't died yet. I did a LOT of laundry those early days. :)
