I got my Green Acres pocket dipe last week and am just posting now. I love the way the dipe looks but...I don't love how crunchy the pul is or the way it's working for us. The leg holes are damp after Cadie wears it for a very short time. I've given it 3 chances and don't know what to do now. I guess I can't sell it- won't that happen to anyone who uses it. I'm bummed about it. Here's a pic anyway. Cadie is between snap settings as well. This pic shows her on the tightest:

This pic shows her one looser.

I think we need no elastic in the front! :o

Trish, since the diaper looks a little big the leaking may be because the stuffin is not filling the dipe out, YKWIM? Maybe try stuffing with a prefold so you can get it all the way out to the sides? If it keeps happening I would email the WAHM for sure. What good is a leaky dipe? Even though it is rather pretty!

I really want to give Cadie a squeeze! She is adorable. Those cheeks are TDF.

yeah my green acres diaper was a little crunchy but i didnt have the same problem with leaking. my ds is a soaker and i had him out in it for over 3 hours and had no problem. then again i use a hemparoo and a micro fiber towel. i got the black one with the bugs, i wanted to post a pict but of course my camera is broken :( i do love the pattern that you got.

I only used the insert that came with the dipe. Maybe I should try a JB.

definitely try another insert. I used a towel with the green acres insert in ours and it works much better. It's one of the biggest large pockets I have, though.

It could just be the fit on your child. They seem to fit us really well and we haven't had any leak problems, even through naps. Have you tried a microfiber towel? I wouldn't feel bad about selling them, because they will probably work for someone else.

Trish, don't give up!! If nothing else works, email the owner and let her know the problem. Ask her if she has any advice and if she doesn't tell her you want to exchange.

On another note, Cadie is adorable as usual. I love the orange print, it looks great on her.

Trish, is the insert that came with the diaper hemp? Maybe it needs to be broken in more. Just brainstorming..
