The Fancy Pants fleece pocket that I'm looking at comes in 2 varieties: 2 mid-weight Windpro layers or 1 heavy-weight Windpro layer. Which to go with for use overnight?

Hmm...that's a tough choice. The one thing I would mention is that wicking through fleece tends to occur (well, other than compression) when the stuffings are not sufficient. So if you have enough inserts inside the pocket and he's not being put in a car seat for a long period of time (fleece and wool are fine for Kaya in a car if we're not driving all day), then I would guess that either would be fine. Since Andrew is not that heavy a wetter, it may not make a difference. But I would e-mail the WAHM and ask her for her recommendations.

I am not an expert on this, just have been reading too much about different fabrics lately ;), so take my advice with a grain of salt. From what I understand a mid-weight fleece would be better for overnight since it'd be more breathable. Think about it as wearing layered clothing vs. a heavy coat in cold weather.
You can also treat the outer fleece with Nikwax Spray TX Direct to prevent compression wicking.

That makes a lot of sense, Elena. Where can we get Nikwax Spray TX Direct?
Thanks!
