Got some luscious fluffy mail today!

My custom order from Sugarbums came today, hooray! I must say I am very impressed- maybe it's the velour (our first velour diapers) but these just seem SO soft and luscious, and they are very well made. I have spent a silly amount of time today petting them. :P I haven't got pics yet, but I will post some as soon as I do.

I ordered 2 fitted diapers, one celtic knot print outer that has velour inside, and one organic cotton velour that is doubly soft and cushy with short napped organic velour inside and long napped organic outside. They are both french cut, because littleman has always been a bit chunky in the thighs. I started to worry because only a few days after placing my order, littleman started walking (yay!) and in the couple weeks from then to now his thighs have slimmed noticeably. I wondered if they would fit, but it seems they fit great, with room to grow. So, yippee! And communicating with Heidi has been terrific- she's so nice (and patient!), and has great attention to detail.

I was at a friend's house and finally gave in to putting one of them on littleman, even though I haven't washed them yet. Wouldn't you know it, I stayed too late, he fell asleep in the car, and now he is in it for the night! I guess it's the ultimate test- we'll see how it does! At least nights these days are nowhere near the super-soaker events they used to be!

Yep, I really like our Sugarbums too so far.. haven't used them yet but they are very aesthetically pleasing to me! I have 4 all OV ones.. 2 are french cut and 2 aren't. I had no idea what to expect with Mari's build!

Oh, isn't velour fantastic? Someone needs to make velour underpants for mamas! ;)

Congrats on Littleman walking. Yay!

And OT: I swear I will have your cover and spoon ready for the mail tomorrow. I'm such a dingbat. I saw this post and went and got everything ready!

It's a bit fluffy, but OH so soft!

The Celtic print made it all night the first time he wore it! It has an inner layer of hemp, so perhaps that's why it worked. I also ordered it with a trifold soaker. The organic velour diaper feels like a cloud! Littleman even petted it! :)

Anyway, still loving these diapers.

Okay, I don't usually call little babies "Yummy", especially because I don't want to give people the wrong impression, but he is pretty yummy in those diapers. And in that last picture, he really looks like the Cat's Meow, if you know what I mean! Absolutely adorable! Thanks for the update, Kit!

Thanks everyone! Yes, we think he is pretty yummy. Even juicy, LOL! But we're biased, so of course it's always nice to hear y'all agree. ;) And the dipes are great, too!
