Stains on my micro pad

I'm new in the CD world, so please bear w/me & my simple questions....but, for the first time, my baby pooped while using a CD! And now, the microfiber insert is stained!

Any suggestions on how to remove the stain w/out compromising the effectiveness of the insert?

I am using the white Cotton Babies Micro inserts.

It happens :)!

The microfiber and the FB fleece doesn't hold stains very well, so it might be OK. I generally do not worry about it, and the stains usually come out.

The best thing to do is hit it with some Zout or other good stain remover before washing. I've found that Zout gets poop stains out of most anything, even after drying the FBs. And make sure the insert is still not stained when you go to dry it - drying can set in the stain.

Also, some say a cold rinse first is best, since heat can set in the stains, but I've not had any problems with my hot-hot-hot (soak-wash-rinse) system.
