Right now I only have one petite toddler FB for Conner and it fits well. But he only has one more snap to go on both the waist and the thighs. I'm thinking of ordering some more, but if he could fit in the larges then I'd rather get them since they'd last longer. What do you think? His thighs are 10 1/2", his waist is 19 1/2", and he's about 33 1/2" tall and 26 lbs. Does anyone's dc fit in both the PT and the larges (on the tightest snap setting maybe)? He wears large Baby Blankets, Snap-Ez, and Happy Heiny's.

Comparing a Large to a Petite Toddler, the Large is at least an inch shorter in rise. The wings are larger though, so he'd have more room in the waist. An XL is the same rise as a PT, but but the crotch and most of the body is wider by an inch and a half or so. The snaps are actually in about the same place in the L and XL (so waist-wise they're about the same).

Here's the FB size chart if it helps: http://www.fuzzibunz.com/size.htm

Interesting...according to your description, a large would probably fit Kaya better than a PT. I never thought that would be the case, since most people on these boards think that a large is huge! But I noticed when I tried the PT that Kaya was on the last snaps in the thighs and middle two in the waist (depending on how much she ate).

Kaya will probably thin out as she starts toddling around. Many babies lose weight in their thighs and tummies then. The waist on the larges is significantly larger. If the PT fits her in the rise, the larges will be too short.

Actually, the rise was a tad on the long side for her. In any case, I'm phasing out PUL, so it's not an issue. :D Yay, one less dipe to obsess over. ;-)

I think he should fit in the Larges. Conner is the same height, weight and waist as Sophia, but her thighs are chubbier at 12" (poor girl - she got her mama's legs :)). I was a little nervious about the larges because everyone makes them out to be so huge, but they fit her just fine. She is on the second smallest leg snaps and the tightest waist snaps.

Cottonbabies appears to have a "try a dipe" offer, where I think for $5 you can try one, then send it back maybe for credit if it doesn't work. I considered doing this, but just went ahead and bit the bullet.

Just an FYI when I talked to MOE a month or so ago they say that a large and PT are the same length (so the rise should be the same). A PT has the waist size of a medium.

So basically a PT is the length of a large but the waist of a medium. Does that make sense? So it sounds like the large might fit your DC, since the only difference is going to be the waist size, there should be no difference in rise according to what I understood from MOE.
