stupid question, but can you cut that center grippy thing off? I just noticed on the growmearainbow website that this part doesnt work on the fabfolds (didnt on mine either) and she suggested just cutting it off. per sanppi they dont recommend this, but has anyone done this? I didnt notice a difference of the diaper falling off her without this part...so I would think its ok....help?

I'm sure you could, but what I would suggest is that you just remove the plastic part from the center grip and leave the rest of it hanging, since it's not really getting in the way. Of course, snappi's are pretty cheap, so you could always try cutting one of them off and see how it works for you. :) Or you could do like what you said in the other post about sewing a square area in the crotch area made for the snappi.
