We've tried it a few times now and I really love the WindPro fleece. Though, just for future reference, it's not a good idea to wash a fleece pocket with a load of brand new sherpa wipes -- don't ask how I learned that. ;) If anyone has tips on removing lint from fleece pockets, I'd appreciate it.

I'm working on figuring out the best way to stuff it. In the pictures above, it's stuffed with an infant prefold and a Joeybunz. We're trying it tonight with a Snap-EZ night-time (I usually use sposies at night, so this is a big experiment for me.)

Although it's the same pattern as the PUL pockets, the fabric fits differently. DD wears the PUL pockets on the smallest or next-to-smallest snaps and she needed extra snaps for the fleece pocket.

Ruth will be introducing a Fleece Pocket line in about a month (she has WindPro on order and some 200wt has come in) so it won't be the only one for long. But, it will always be the FIRST WindPro Fleece Pocket.

So one day, you may see this on Antiques Roadshow -- I'd wonder if they'd do that routine, "This would be worth a great deal of money, EXCEPT it has been washed so it lacks that patina of age and is therefore almost worthless." ;)

I'm not a hyena and I don’t have the most exciting stash, but at least I can brag about this. ;)

Wow, the pocket fits your DD really well! To remove lint just use a lint roller or some tape. I like the lint rollers with the sticky tape best.

Ahah! Karen, you're the one who was getting the fleece pocket! Ruth had told me that a fleece pocket was in the works, but she didn't tell me who was getting it. I'm so glad that you're the one who got it! It looks quite lovely and I can't wait to get some from her. I've been waiting for a while and it looks like it was worth the wait. :) I've got 5 of those giant MF towels from Zannadu coming soon, so I bet those would be great with a Lizajane or maybe a smaller hemp insert for overnight. That's the combo I use in my Apronstrings pockets for overnight. I've also used an SEZ overnight with a MOE MF insert for overnight and that's worked out well.

Let me know how it works for you for overnight. :)

I wish I could let you know how it works overnight, but DD pooped in it about 10 minutes after I got her in it. It's been one of those days. I'll just have to do laundry and try again tomorrow.

Oh, and I just ordered a few of those giant towels from Zannadu today (and a few of the ultratrim ones) thanks to your recommendation. I can't wait to try them.

LOL. I washed my Very Baby fleece AIO with 6 brand new Indian prefolds. Lint city! I just used a lint roller (or you can wrap a piece of masking or scotch tape around your fingers and get it off that way). I'm thinking as long as the tape/lint roller is not TOO tacky it won't pull on the fleece or cause pilling.

Cute pics. :-)

Doh! Isn't it wonderful the way one of a kind, original diapers encourage our babes to poop? ;-) I swear, if Kaya ever has a problem with constipation, I should just spend a lot of money on a diaper, put it on her, and voila! :P

I hope you end up liking the giant towels. I used it again last night with a LJ and both were wet in front, but dry in back as usual. :)

Hey Karen, can you e-mail me at firstname at chemicalgraphics dot com? I have a question for you about your fleece pocket.

Thanks!

That is a lovely diaper! Let us know how it works. And maybe with CDs, the more washing, the more valuable ;), who knows!

I use Cottonbabies with my Snap-EZ, they work really well.

Oh, and I used one of those sweater shavers to remove lint from my FB insides before I sold them or put them away. It works like a charm.
