We've tried it a few times now and I really love the WindPro fleece. Though, just for future reference, it's not a good idea to wash a fleece pocket with a load of brand new sherpa wipes -- don't ask how I learned that. ;) If anyone has tips on removing lint from fleece pockets, I'd appreciate it.
I'm working on figuring out the best way to stuff it. In the pictures above, it's stuffed with an infant prefold and a Joeybunz. We're trying it tonight with a Snap-EZ night-time (I usually use sposies at night, so this is a big experiment for me.)
Although it's the same pattern as the PUL pockets, the fabric fits differently. DD wears the PUL pockets on the smallest or next-to-smallest snaps and she needed extra snaps for the fleece pocket.
Ruth will be introducing a Fleece Pocket line in about a month (she has WindPro on order and some 200wt has come in) so it won't be the only one for long. But, it will always be the FIRST WindPro Fleece Pocket.
So one day, you may see this on Antiques Roadshow -- I'd wonder if they'd do that routine, "This would be worth a great deal of money, EXCEPT it has been washed so it lacks that patina of age and is therefore almost worthless." ;)
I'm not a hyena and I don’t have the most exciting stash, but at least I can brag about this. ;)
