i got one for schuyler, hoping he might be potty trained this summer, but not wanting to be THAT mom who made the whole pool close down because her kid had a poopy accident without a swim dipe...

it is SO FREAKIN' CUTE on his teeny tiny bottom!! if i can get him to cooperate, i will HAVE to post a pic. he called it his "fish underpants." they run waaaaaaaaaaay small, just like i had heard. but the XL does fit him because his booty is itsy bitsy and he is so skinny.

it looks like the world's smallest speedo. ohmigaw, precious.

We have one, too. I love it. We don't even put a swim suit over it, because it's so cute.

Check your sig - is Schuyler really 27.5" tall?

Yup, I just got one (red fishies) and can't wait to try it out in a couple days in Sunny FLORIDA!!! :) I will definitely have to get some pics. I don't know if I should bother to get her a swimsuit, but she looks so cute in the "speedos".

What size would you recommend for Dallin? he's got a 16 inch waist and rise and 10/5 thighs... he's about 23 pounds.

Hmm...I would suspect a large would work with him. An x-large might be a bit loose around the thighs, especially when wet. However, you could e-mail Trisha at Lilbunz and ask her. When I ordered from her, I asked her about the size dilemma and she told me about the sizing of her son, and then said she could send me both sizes and I could see which one fit her better and return the other one. That's pretty amazing CS. :)

Like Eileen said, Trish at Lil Bunz will help you with sizing. But, Andrew is about Dallin's size and he wears a large. The rise on these is pretty low, so it sits below the belly.

We did not use a swimsuit last year with the Bumpy dipe. Far easier without, just as cute or cuter and nice even tan. :)

OK, here I was, so proud of myself for not buying anything new for a while (and no plans to) because I have a ridiculous stash of stuff and couldn't possibly need anything else. (Actually getting ready to sell some stuff!) And I read this thread and now I'm buying a swim dipe.

You ladies are a BAAAAAD influence. And to think it was Liza the frugal one who started the thread :)

I got James a Large, he seems to be getting skinnier by the day, 25 lbs but his thighs are slimming way down. Will the large work? I guess I can exchange if not....
