Based on all the good advice found here, we started out our baby with Kissaluvs size 0 and a mix of Proraps and Whisper Wraps. He has just outgrown the newborn size wraps, and I was wondering if anyone had advice for storing diapers and wraps for future use - plastic bins? Cardboard boxes? Does it even make a difference? After making an investment in cloth, we want to be sure to be able to use them for baby #2 which is a few years down the road!

Here are some threads from another board that may help. I think it does matter because elastic degrades over time and fabric does too, but I don't know the best method!

Well, those two will give you some ideas--there are a ton of threads there if you search "storing" in the Diapering forum.

I stored Lola's diapers for over a year and a half in a space bag (vacuum sealed bag) before taking them out to use for Astrid. I've sold many of them because, dang it!, Astrid has a completely different shape and many of them just don't fit her well. Regardless, they were in excellent condition going into the bag and were in excellent condition coming out of the bag. If you're ever contemplating storing diapers as keepsakes once your babies are all done with diapers, I imagine that an acid free box with acid free tissue paper is the best way to preserve them.
