Cotton Babies insert question

OK, this may be a stupid question but.... I just received some medium FBs with the CB insert from Cottom Babies. Is the insert meant to be snapped with the medium FBs? It comes up short in the pocket if it's snapped, so maybe the snap is for the small FBs? Should I just fold the insert to fit instead of snapping it? Thanks!

It should fit fine without snapping. Once it is on the baby, the stretch fb will be large enough so the insert fits properly.. if that makes sense.

So it doesn't even need to be folded? It seemed so long! I'll try it when I get home.

I snap the CB inset for our medium FB because DS is a heavy wetter and this gives extra absorbency in his pee zone. It doesn't matter to us if there isn't as much material at the back of the FB - his dipes are never wet there.
