That Gunnar and Leela are about the nicest diaper models ever....maybe it is because I am just looking at the pictures but trying to get diaper shots of Toby is like trying to take a picture of the road runner....most of the time I shoot the picture and my fast digital camera captures his foot darting out of the shot and a close-up of my needs vacuuming carpet! My husband has to hold him in the air while we listen to him shout down, down, down and try to kick his dad....either he is modest and does not want photographic evidence of his knickers OR being mostly naked inspires the monkey in him and he runs and climbs like a madman when dressed *only* in a diaper.

Anyway kudos to the cutie pants models and the talented photosnapping mamas Rashmi and Helene- I am jealous of your seemingly willing diaper models. If you have any tips to turn my diaper-camera-shy kid around, I am all ears!

LOL Katie. I just had to laugh because while Gunner is an EXCELLENT model, Leela is not. There were about 99 blurred shots and then the 1 good shot. I am so glad I got myself the digital SLR camera. I was going poor shooting rolls of film!!!
Now, blurred or not, we want to see pic of your cutie Toby!!!
Sometimes i have to make her stand on the changing table or train table so she can't run away. She has not mastered the jump yet.

I think turning on Elmo has worked in the past....LOL!

And yes, Leela and Gunner are too cute. They are excellent diaper models. And I have to say they are even cuter IRL.

I have avoided taking dipe shots of Jonah lately, as it is too tiring. :)

LOL! I would love to see pics of Toby anyway--he's such a cutie! I think it's the age of Gunner that makes him a bit more cooperative--Kaya used to be majorly cooperative. Probably Leela was the same way. (Of course cooperativeness or lack thereof does not change the fact that all the babes around here are super cute diaper models! :P) These days, I either chase her around with the camera, or DH will "walk" her by holding her hands--that works pretty well. Also, she's not quite running yet, so if she's walking towards me, I can get a shot. One shot I did enjoy was her "model" shot when she was leaning against the wall:

Yup, I freely admit that digital cameras definitely make all this possible! It's certainly freed me up (psychologically and financially) to take as many pictures as possible just to get that one great shot! :)
