We inaugurated the Wildoats WIO yesterday - as a night dipe no less! I boosted the soaker with a 1/2 cut up prefold and a MF towel - and we made it all night with no leaks. The shell wasn't even damp, though the inserts were soaked.
BUT - when I changed DS, he had all this blue fuzz all over his diaper area. Is this normal for wool flannel? I haven't had this issue with the other wool. I did wash and lanolize the shell. It doesn't bother him - just looks weird. I really couldn't get it off him with wipes. Hopefully it'll come off in the tub tonight. :)
The wool is incredibly soft and cuddly, and DS agreed that it was "comfy." Which is one less thing to worry about. The Wildoats is sort of wide in the stride. But it's soft and squishy enough that my picky child didn't object.
So, other than the fuzz issue, I highly recommend this dipe. It's beautifully sewn, and Andrea was wonderful with all my questions. And the large WIO was only $20. Grab her instock if it works for you. She's due soon, and isn't planning on stocking much.
