My baby is shrinking. o_O

Ishie's been in size 2 Sugarpeas for so long I've lost track of how long ago he outgrew the size 1s. There was a brief overlap in which he could wear both sizes, and he was on the bottom row of snaps on the size 2s, but I think for at least six months he's been wearing them on the top row with the tabs touching. Gradually we've started having a one-snap overlap on the crossovertabs... and I just put one on him and realized it would fit much better if I put it on the bottom row of snaps, with the tabs touching. :o Sheesh, I know he's walking all over the place now (more and more since the retreat!), but where has my baby's butt gone?!?

I wonder if the size 1s would fit again, or if those are still too small...

Yup--I'm finding that out. :) But it's not quite as dramatic as with Ishie I don't think--the large side-snapping Tykies are still somewhat snug. However, the large snap-ez (at least the fleece ones) are definitely too big for Kaya, even with an extra set of snaps. I know fleece stretches more, so that's part of the problem, but with the large SEZ, she used to be on the second largest snaps for thighs and third largest for the waist. Now with the fifth snaps on the waist and smallest on the thighs, they're still too big. So I'm guessing the mediums will fit her well.

That said, I would suspect the size 1 Sugarpeas wouldn't fit him quite as well because of the rise. I don't have to worry about the SEZ for the rise, because they're low-rise diapers.

He's wearing a Size 1 Sugarpeas now. The rise just fits -- it comes up just high enough in the back, and sits about where a Snap-EZ should in the front.

Oh, thank goodness you posted this! I was starting to freak alittle over what appears to be a shrinking Riordan. (She never did have much of a butt, but suddenly everything's bigger in the waist. And most of my new dipes are SO big!)

I am continually amazed at how Forrest's body is changing these days. I have a pic of him at 9mo, in just a dipe, and the contrast to now, at 14mo, is remarkable!

If he's cooperating tonight, I'll take a current pic and post both of them, its so amazing.
