My daughter is 3.5 years old and I think that she is way too young
to wipe herself after going poop. I'm not sure how great a job
she would do!
But some of my friends are letting their same-age kids do it
by themselves.

At what age should I let her do this by herself??

Thanks!
And sorry for the gross question!

DS is about the same age & he does pretty well wiping. He refuses help!! While on the other hand, his 6 yo sister pleads for help!! (dramaqueen) :)

I just watch for good hand washing & figure I'll clean off any residue during a bath!

Mine were required to be able to wipe to attend preschool So both my older DS were wiping on their own before 3.5. I only remember that because it was one the requirement list with going pee with out help blowing nose and taking off and putting on pants if they had an accident.
FYI I had to set paper amounts... 5 sheets... or you will get a toilet full of paper :)
Good Luck
