Please help! We're about to go buy some disposables for nights and naps if I can't figure this out soon. Every time I pick up my daughter from her crib she is SOAKED up the back. It only happens with her pockets, and it happens in all of them -- FBs, BBs, other WAHMs... I scrubbed the fleece/suedecloth with dish soap and that did nothing. I've dried them in the dryer several times but no improvement. This last wash cycle I did 6(!) rinses, just for kicks but we still had leaks last night and this morning after her nap. I usually stuff with an infant prefold topped with a trifolded microfiber towel or a hemp insert (LJ nights) with a trifolded MF towel on top. DD usually sleeps on her back or on her side. This has just started happening recently. Only things I can think of that we're doing differently are: 1)She's eating lots more solids and drinking a tiny bit of water everyday -- still BFing. Could she have turned into a "supersoaker"?; and 2) we started using our front-loading washer (this can't be the problem. DH will KILL me!) Any ideas or advice? I'll try anything, lol.

Okay, when she's soaked up the back, what about the inserts? If they're all wet, then yes, chances are you'll need more "stuffins". For my supersoaker I need to use a giant Zannadu microfiber towel PLUS a LJ night insert. Often times the front will be completely saturated (but not dripping) because she is a stomach sleeper and the back will be pretty dry. When I used less absorbency in the inserts, the front would be very very wet, the back would be dry, but I would also get wicking. So check the inserts in back and see if they're completely saturated. If so, chances are you need more inserts. An infant prefold with a trifolded microfiber towel stopped working for us months ago. Same with the LJ night with a trifolded MF. That's why I got the Zannadu MF towels.

Ah hah! Yes, the inserts are pretty wet in the back and pretty darned dry in the front. I just thought the shells weren't absorbing fast enough and the pee was running out, lol. I'm not thinking too quickly; I'm too busy changing clothes and sheets. Off to get some Zannadu MF and hopefully that'll do the trick. Where did you find yours?

At Zannadu.com. Here's the link to the towel:

It's on sale right now--I might almost get a couple more because I love them so much (I have 5 right now).

FWIW, the only time my pocket AIO's leak like that is when he's ready to move up to a bigger size in that brand.
