Tykie stocked this today. I think it is adorable. It is a little too small for Gabrielle.
Who is going to buy it???? Someone has to!

OMG!!!! That is so frickin' cute! I showed it to DH and he said, "Yes, Dear," so I don't think Kaya's going to be sporting this at the end of the month and our church swim party. :( But it would be really adorable on her. :)

I'm in love! I think it's too big for Cadie, though. :( But that price is amazing!

I know it's a great price, but I haven't spent more than $10 on an outfit for Kaya yet...and she doesn't really NEED a swimsuit, exactly....

But come on, Kaya in a visor!! How can you resist? It's really an outfit, a swimsuit and a hat. So does that count as $10 each. Almost...?

Hee, hee. Okay, well, if it's still there tomorrow, I'll think very seriously about getting it. Otherwise I'll just assume it was not meant to be. :P

Okay, I really LOVED the idea, but the bikini top really freaked me out. I'm sure I'm a dork, but baby bikini tops that look too grown up just wig me out--big time. We have a couple of tank style (almost tankini) bikini suits, which I can handle.

Am I a freak?

Hee, hee. I don't think you're a dork. I wasn't sure about the whole bikini top at first, either, but I think she's young enough so that it would be fine. Especially because I was planning on letting her go in the water with just a swim diaper (no top at all)...but it does add food for thought. I definitely wouldn't want to wig people out, LOL!

edited for clarification

Topless doesn't wig me out at all! She's a little girl! Mari does the sandbox topless, and Liam says "um, did she have that belly when she came home" LOL.

It's the whole "making babies look grown up" that bothers me.

You are EVIL for posting this! I want I want I want....sadly I cannot afford even at the awesome price. Ode to having a diaper budget! I think Im just going to start sewing my own. Gotta do some thing with all my fabric right? Now I just need the time :)

I would not use the bikini top if I bought it either. I am not a fan of that look either. But, I do love the swing top and diaper!

Trish,
I actually think it may fit Cadie. It is on the small side.
Ann said the top was about 12 inches long and about 9 inches across teh shoulders. The dipe was really small. She said she would make a larger diaper to go with it if the person who bought it needed it.

I'm honestly curious. If I had a little girl she would go with just a swim diaper until the bikini tops actually had a purpose to serve.

Actually, I probably wouldn't use the bikini top, either. After all, *I* don't wear bikinis because of modesty, so if I want to teach her the same thing, I can't very well put one on her, even if there's nothing to show/cover up, if that makes sense. Somehow her going without a suit at all (with just the diaper) seems more modest than her going with a bikini top. Obviously, I've thought this through a bit. :)

thank God i can't connect with the server when i click the link!

this set is so stinkin' cute and i don't want to know what you ladies mean by a good price because then i'd be tempted to rationalize the purchase. DH so far hasn't said much about my purchases but i'm fairly certain this would intitiate some kine of response :-)
