Those of you who change the diaper after every pee...

does your child pee differently than mine? I like the idea of changing every pee, but I'd be changing him every 15-20 minutes. Do you really change this often?

Andrew doesn't ever pee a lot at once, but a does a little very often. I change every 1.5-2 hours or so and a regular size prefold is about 1/3 wet. Should I be changing a lot more frequently?

Logan is a dribbler too. I don't change after every pee. When she was smaller, I would check her every 2 hours and change her if she was wet enough to be able to tell she was wet.

Now that she is a toddler, I check her about every 4 hours. Often she is still totally dry.

She just doesn't pee very much or very often.

Hmm...that's a good question. I THINK Kaya tends to let it all out, but I tend to change her every 1.5-2 hours, just like you. If she pees a lot right after I change her, though, and I notice, I'll change her right away. DH will usually let her go a little longer, though.

We change about every 1-2 hours because if we don't, it's rash city.

I have always changed DS every 1.5-2 hours, unless I smell or feel something a bit earlier! :)

I would think that you are ok changing him as often as you are doing. The only reason I would change more often would be if he had a rash or any type of irritation.

We change at every pee. Sometimes it's every 15 minutes; sometimes it's a couple hours. She's just a pretty easy one to figure out when she pees!
