i am finally stepping out of my comfort zone and trying some new things. here is what works for us so far and what doesnt.

fb's work but ds doesnt sit still long enough for the snaps. hh's work real well for us. i just got an ella's pocket off of swap and love it. i use alot of prefitteds (gmar and some made by seekermage) but i dont have a cover that i am head over heels for, i wanted one of the wool ones that was posted about a day or two ago but they were all gone :( i just ordered my first muttaqin but one of the sized ones not a one size one. i love my sugar plum hemp diapers. my ds is a super soaker.

what doesnt work is items like hh prints as they wick for us. side snaps like cloth-ease because ds wont sit still. i am pretty sure that i dont want any more prefitted like the gmar or the ones kathryn made as i have around 10 of them total :P

so what is left? is there some great diapers out there that i am missing out on? what about covers? i was very in love with thoes wool dyed ones. i like trim options best and dont like real bulky covers like the stacinator. i dont really need a pair of soaker shorts or anything like that as i have one pair that i dont use often. i have one aio that i got off of ebay that is embroidered that i like but i am not sure on a daily basis if they will work for a super soaker. also i dont really get the whole hyena cart so i dont think that is an option for me. sorry this is so long but i guess what i am getting at is...............HELP ME SPEND MY MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love Fuz Easy covers from fuzbaby.com. The wool is so nice and soft and the colors of gorgeous. For ultimate trimness you might want to try a FuzBomb from the same site.

I think the covers you are talking about are Bijoubabygear. If you email Jamie I'll bet she will make some upfor you. She is really nice.

I really like my Mutt wool cover. I use it at night alot. I have a few new diaper "in transit" I will let you know how they turn out. Benjamuffins, Nothingbuttcloth hemp and Apronstrings fleece pockets ( she is taking customs now). I can tell you I was not thrilled with the absorbancy of the SOS the fit is really nice though. I like my swaddlebees for daytimes ( insert + mico towel) and my Mutts do well but I sometimes add a micor towel under the soaker. My fav right now is my very baby fitted w/snaps ( very absorbant).

ok here i go sounding stupid ;)

what are the sos's are they the benjamuffin ones? i have tried a benjamuffin night dreamer and i liked it but ds hates cloth at night. i have never tried an apronstrings pocket. i do have a nothingbuttcloth hemp and had issues with it :( where are swaddlebees sold? is it its own site? or are thoes the new ones trish at little bunz is selling? maybe thoes were cuddlebums......anyway i think i have seen the very baby ones somewhere and my only other question is when you say mutt are you refering to muttaqins? i will now hang my head in shame that i know so little :(

SOS(Susie One SIze) are Christensen Creations. Benjamuffins are totally different diapers. Swaddlebees are really trim pocket diapers I got mine at JamTots but several places sell them. Yes Mutt is Muttaqins (sorry) I have 3 ..1 organic velour 1 tiedye with velour and a hemp fitted. As I said the wool covers fit great. They are side snap but the large is on the tightest setting for Nathan who is a good 29lbs.
WHat issues did you have with the Nothingbuttcloth? I just ordered one to try ( $10 including shipping)
Did you try tykie diapers. I have heard good reviews of their fitteds here on the boards.
below is a pic of Nathan in a large swaddlebee.

now i remember the swaddlebees, they are side snapping, but i love how they fit. the muttaqin i ordered is the velour and i cant wait to get it :P yummy! i have not tried tykies except for a cover i have, it is a tad to big on him. hers are all side snapping also i think. i will have to check out the sos diapers. as for the nothingbuttcloth i got a fitted hemp with no bells or whistles and the first time i put it on him the elastic gave out in the leg. her cutting was also a little off and so each side was cut a little different. the legs gapped badly. she did offer if i wanted to send it back she would redo the elastic but i figured it wasnt worth it :( i know someone who had a problem with them and she offered to send a new one and when she got it it wasnt the greatest of quality. i hope you dont have a problem.

could you give me the link for the sos's please

I just got an apron string fleece pocket today Really nice fit. Nathan is in the large and has plenty of room. Of course he had to poop in in JUST because its new. I have been requested not to buy anymore diapers (DH got the AEX bill :( ) and I hate to see nice things just sit in there!
