Okay, I've decided that I'm going to share a couple of pictures for a few days and then remove them. But I hate that some people have ruined our fun, and I'm going to go ahead and post and then remove later.

The one difficulty about your child having a more unusual name is that standard personalized items don't normally have those names (unless you get them specially made of course). Anyway, I love this onesie that Lizajane made and it has plenty of room for CDs. :) And yes, Kaya is enjoy fresh blueberries for the first time in these pics. It's the second fruit she's really enjoyed since her pureed days (first is bananas). This afternoon, DH was also able to get her to eat some strawberries.

What a cutie! The onesie is pretty cute, too. I'm amazed that she actually keeps the blueberries *in* the bowl - we don't do that around here. :)

That is so cute!!

LOL at the blueberries. Mari is into round foods right now. All she ate for lunch yesterday were blueberries and frozen peas. She is chewing so well now!

Oh, FYI on the copyright, the one you have is really easy to remove; it would take me about 5 minutes in Photoshop.

I recommend using a much larger one that covers the entire photo or a smaller one that is repeated all over the image. Here is a sample Tiffany came up with after I gave her the same recommendation (posted with her permission):

Cool! How did you do that and how were you able to make it so it would be difficult to remove?

Thanks!

Its just text that covers the area... in a light gray color. Then i made it semi transparent. I think that since its not a solid color its harder to just take that color off off the image. But maybe holli can explain better?

OMG, that's so adorable!

Eileen, it's just really that it's so large and covers the detailed areas that it would just take someone much more time than it would be worth. It's still do-able, but less likely to happen.

Thanks for sharing. I'm hoping we can still make this work. :)
That onesie is very cute...but Kaya is the star here. She's so grown up in that picture!

Tiffany...I didn't realize you were "here" with us. :) So is that a sneak peak at one of your dipes? }(

Ah...I see! Well our dd's look about the same size. :)
I'm sure your dipes will be great! I've looked at your preview quite a bit. I keep hoping I'll magically come upon a bunch of them stocked. What a dork, I know.

The onesie is definitely cute, but I think Kaya is even cuter in those pictures! And the second one could make her a poster child for healthy eating. ;) It just has a look of, "Look, Ma! I'm eating fruit!"

Thanks for sharing! :)

Okay, I figured out with photoshop who to do most of that. But I can't figure out how to make the text semi transparent. Where can I do that?

Thanks!

ETA: Nevermind, DH figured it out--opacity!

The way I know of how to do it would be to have it in two different layers (which it should automatically create a second layer when you go to type text onto the picture), and all you have to do is adjust the opacity of the text layer. I'm using Photoshop 7.0.1, and it's been awhile since I've used an older version, but in that version the opacity adjuster is in the window that displays your different layers. Make sure you're clicked on the layer you want to adjust (in this case, the text), and the "Opacity" option should be near the upper right-hand corner. You can either type in the exact percentage you want (for instance, 50%), or you can click on the little arrow next to the percentage and a slide bar will pop up. Then just make sure you "Flatten Image" before you save it for it to save properly as a jpg. (You probably knew the last part, but I figured I'd include it just in case.)

Anyway, like I said, this is for Photoshop 7.0.1. It's been so long since I've used an older version, I can't remember exactly where it's located in those, but I have vague memories of it being similar. :)

More hijacking but I know I'm not unbiased since Tiff is a dear friend but her AIOs fit Mari like a dream. I have a solid PUL tester, and it's just wonderful and trim for chubby babes!

Thanks everyone for the compliments, and thanks to Tiffany, Holli, and Melissa for the photoshop help. Oh, and I guess I should thank DH as well. :P

I've fixed the pictures and I hope it works better. Oh, and Melissa, that WOULD be a cute poster for healthy eating. I just hope her enjoyment of healthy food lasts a lifetime! :)

lol sorry for hijacking Eileen!

That pic of her is adorable! I have some miniature blueberries in the fridge for willow but havent given them to her yet cause i know it will dye everything blue LOL

Oh and i completely understand the no personalized stuff because of unusual names. When i was growing up we could NEVER find anything with the name Tiffany on it. Ive never seen anything with Kyla or Willow on it yet either, lol.

If they fit Mari then they should fit Cadie well, too.
Oh, and more hijacking, even...Um...Anna, aren't you due now?

No problem, thanks for all your help! That diaper looks really great! :) You'll definitely have to let the BBB know your stocking before the gals at MDC to give us a fighting chance. ;)

Somebody tell the Boy that! I would love for him to come out now instead of growing ever-more-humongous in there. Gracie was 10+ lbs and I am trying for a VBAC... (Of course, if he's not fully cooked, then that's different, but I think he's just stubborn like his sister.) I'm just over 38 weeks now.

Wow, 10+ pounds! Here's hoping the Boy will come out soon and at a more reasonable size! :P

If it's encouraging, I'm celebrating because I just got an e-mail from my yoga instructor (and friend) that his wife just delivered VBAC and homebirth today to a 9 pound 2 oz babe, 22.5 inches long, and he was 1.5 weeks late and her last son was also pretty big. :) Mom and baby are doing great and he's latched on with no problems!

Good to see Kaya's Cutie pie face! I love that onesie! She looks really good in pink...
Poo poo on those that want o ruin our fun. :( I hope to post some Maddy pics soon and I agree that the best thing to do is wait a couple of days and then take them down. Of course that will require some diligence on my end. :P

She's so cute. The onesie is really nice. Obviously, Andrew is easy enough to find, but growing up, Kris was nearly impossible.
