prefolds are huge on kaylee help

hi i bought some prefolds from a mama. they are premiums and she is 12 months old and i used the angel fold and a snappi and it just looks huge and gaps around the legs. what can i do. we are using them coverless.

What about trying a bikini twist to tighten it up around the legs? Lie the diaper under her, twist the front 180 degrees and bring up in between legs. No other thoughts...sorry. I have a 6 month old that premiums are getting too small on!!!

Are you folding over the back top edge or the front top edge at all?
We use premiums on Cadie (19 lbs.) and have to fold down about 1 1/2 inches on the back. It makes a world of difference in fit. I agree w/a pp that the bikini twist might work better and you might also make sure that you roll under the pf at the leg holes. HTH!

since you are going coverless, try folding down the front a few inches. i don't think i have ever used a prefold without folding down the front.
