I want to order some dyed prefolds for burp cloths for a baby gift. What size do people like? Andrew wasn't much of a spitter until 4 or 5 months and then he just did it randomly, not with a feeding, so we had small flannel cloths I liked. So, premie? infant?

Thanks.

I think I would prefer infant, because it would drape over the shoulder more easily than a premium, but it would still be big enough to protect a fair bit of yourself, lol. Also, I think a preemie wouldn't quite be big enough to wipe up a big mess. I think I would like unbleach infant IPFs for burp cloths. :)

You'd prefer unbleached over the colors? Hmmm. Where do I get IPFs?

Well, actually, I guess bleached or unbleached doesn't matter if you're planning on dyeing them. :) But I do prefer IPFs to CPFs because they're softer, and with burp cloths, the fact that they're slightly smaller doesn't matter.

I got my IPFs (well all my prefolds, actually) from Teresa dot smith at rocketmail dot com. She's granitesmith on ebay. Hmm...now that you're talking about all this, maybe I should have a dyeing party and dye all my prefolds for fun. That way, with the next baby, it will seem like I'm using "new" diapers. :P

The dyeing party sounds fun!

I was going to buy them already dyed :).
