I do 2 washes. First hot with detergent and calgon. 2nd hot and 2 extra rinses. So far everything seems fine. But should the calgon go in with the detergent or just in the rinses.
TIA

When I do use Calgon, I always put it in with the detergent. I don't know if that is the "right way" but I think it is what I read on the package? It has always worked well for me!

Until just this week, I was putting Calgon in with the first hot wash & detergent. Then I did a cycle with nothing in it, or maybe a little Advantage. I've been playing this week with detergent in the first cycle, Calgon in the second cycle with a little Advantage in the rinse and one more rinse. I'm just kind of curious if it'll make my diapers softer, cleaner, harder, etc.

Eileen,
Please let us know the results of your experiments. I should add some downy to the next wash, the hemp is a little stiff.
