This experience just makes me sad. :( In my not-so-short CDing caree, I've always enjoyed working with WAHM's and prefer to give my business to them. However, this just makes me mad and sad.

On 7/19, I purchased a custom order from Luv Mimi. Her embroidered PF's were really cute. A month went by, I emailed her for an update. She said she had to finish other customs first. Another month went by, I emailed her again. This time she said her grandmother was sick. No problem at all. I understand WAHM's have to take care of their families first. Emailed her again after 2 weeks, she said she messed up and had to wait for the blanks to arrive. Another months went by, I emailed her again (still nice and polite), she no longer returned emails. It's been more than 3 month now. One of her customers (who was waiting for her custom too) told me that the excuse she got was that her back was hurt.

During this period, she still posted new stuff at Lily Pad Landing up until 3 weeks ago.

As a last resort, and also suggested by one of her customers, I gave her a call (it was listed on my Paypal transaction record) and asked for a refund. She promised to refund me the next day (which was last Fri). Again, she didn't keep her promise. And I don't think she will be answering her phone for a while :(

I've been very nice and reasonable with her, but obviously, it gets me no where. As a SAHM, I get upset when someone takes DS's diapering money like that.

Is there anyway I can get my money back? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you so much!

If you paid with a credit card, you may be able to file a claim for a chargeback. I would go ahead and file a claim with Paypal regardless of whether you used a cc or not. I experienced a bad transaction earlier this year, and Paypal said that if enough people filed a claim, they would open an investigation even if it was past the deadline for filing for a refund. I believe there are a couple of bad apple lists out there where you can post the details of the transaction to warn others as well.

Thanks, Jaina! I filed a claim with Paypal. Unfortunately, I paid with funded pp, so I can't file a claim for a chargeback. Thanks for your help! I just hope this won't happen to other moms.
