I plan to use disposables, but want to get some cloth diapers to use as wipes, burp cloths, etc.. Are these sold at places like Target? Thanks for orienting a newbie!

Yup - the most common are Gerber brand, I believe and are sold in square packs of 10 or 12. I've seen them in Target, bought mine at Walmart, BRU has them of course.

Yep, I got mine at Target, also Gerber brand. One thing though - they come in two different thicknesses - I wanted the ones with a thicker middle, which are the overnight cloth diapers. They also come in a thinner material. HTH!

i think "real" cloth diapers are SO MUCH BETTER, even just for burpeys. they cost a little more, but i think they are so much softer and more plush that it is worth it! i've got 'em at wholesale price if you want 'em.

Yep, Gerber PFs are readily available most places! If you prefer something a little softer and fluffier, I'd recommend Indian PFs from www.mtdiaperstore.com - or, I think granitesmith on eBay has them too.
