Teething relatedd diaper rash?

I never had this experience with DS. With DD, she is having a bad diaper rash. Her butt is red and some of the skin is peeling too. I feel so bad for her. Darn teeth! I was just wondering if anyone else had such terrible experience wiht teeth for their DC?? Is that normal?? Well, I don't think it is. But I guess everyone reacts differently to teething.

Oh my, I sure can sympathize with you. Poor little DD how are you treating the rash?

DSx2 have been cutting molars for the past couple of weeks. I thought they were sick with a cold or something but pedi's nurse said this was related to teething.

This is what I've seen thus far:
=Bad rash in the beginning (used Triple Paste + Aquaphor + corn starch to relieve with soaks and lots of diaper changes)
=watery / loose stools with a sour odor (very pale, too)
=runny nose, hoarseness and coughing
=purplish marks on the gums that went away (freaked me out!)
=loss of appetite (we eat a lot of oatmeal, yogurt, Cheerios, and fruit)

I'm a first time mami and some of this is pretty scary. Breaks my heart to see my little ones so uncomfortable. I asked the same thing, is this 'usual or normal' but I guess every human being is different. Now I want to know : WHEN will it end?!
