Yikes! DD's bum is bright red!

Normally DD sleeps in sposies. Last night, I decided to put her in cloth for the night, with some extra doublers. She woke up early this morning saying she was poopy (which in her limited vocabulary means either wet or poopy), and cried and cried. When we changed her, her bum and everywhere the diaper had touched was bright, bright red! It's a diaper we use all the time, and we haven't made any big detergent changes, other than switching to Sportswash, and we made the switch a couple of weeks ago.

She also woke up with a 103 temp, so we're heading in to the doc's office in a minute, but any ideas on the bummy issue?

Well, with the 103 temp, it could be a coincidence, especially if you've used the diaper successfully before. However, have you used it since you used Sportswash? I think I remember a mommy saying their babe was sensitive to Sportswash and that she had to rinse it many times to completely get rid of it. What kind of diaper was it? Was it completely soaked? In other words, was she sitting in a wet diaper and was her skin wet and clammy?
