We're battling a yeast infection diaper rash!

DD has had a yeast infection since last Thursday. Her ped. called in Nystatin, but I have not noticed the infection getting better. We've been putting baking soda in her baths and we've started her on a probiotic. I'm thinking about going to the pharmacy and picking up a monistat cream and trying that instead of refilling her Nystatin prescription. She's getting as much bare butt time as possible. I can tell that this is bothering my poor baby. How long do you think a yeast infection rash takes to clear up?

We have also been battling a yeast diaper rash. Yesterday was day 8 of treatment with probiotics, Lotrimin, cool baths, and diaper free time. We had no change and her ped prescribed diflucan orally. If the Nystatin isn't helping, I'm not sure that another topical would help.
