My stock of FBs has been dwindling - I had 7, and was down to 4. I just couldn't figure out where they were.

Yesterday night, I located the missing FBs in the car, of all places. It seems that each time DH changed DS's diaper in the car, he would throw the used dipe (not poopy, thank goodness) into the way back of the minivan. Since DH usually does the loading and unloading of stuff from the back, and when I grocery shop I try and put everything in front so it won't slide around so much, I had no reason to go back there and discover this. I only figured it out after Christmas shopping - a bag fell over, and landed on top of the pile of dirty diapers.

Now I ask - why didn't DH, who knew these were there, bring them inside? Oh yes - because diaper cleaning is my job, not his.

Is it any wonder that the van stank like pee?

I am sitting here, softly chuckling, thinking about your post in the Bitching Post. Doesn't it just figure?

Oh my gosh, I'm glad you finally figured it out! We were actually missing one of our beloved, Saarjte-dyed, Mom's fitted and I thought that the church nursery people had thrown it out because it wasn't in our diaper bag and I couldn't find it anywhere in the nursery the next day. Well a few days later, I'm replacing our bulky changing pad with one that I got from Snap-EZ to try thinning down the diaper bag and lo and behold! They had wrapped the diaper in the changing pad and stuffed it in the back pocket. Sigh. I'm glad I found it before it started really smelling! And I'm glad it was pee and not poop, too!

I didn't add this CD one there, but could've...I figured the Mamas here would appreciate it more.

It's been a long week, what can I say?

That reminds me of a funny story - I was missing one half each of two of my favorite pairs of socks, and was convinced that the dryer in our new laundry room ate them.

Weeks I went without these socks, but saving the singletons, hoping they'd turn up.

Then, a month after they went missing, I noticed a lump in my pillow...and another lump. Both socks had been hanging out in my pillowcases through at least 2 washes. I'm glad I found them, but how did they get there???

Hee, hee, that does happen occasionally in the dryer cycle. I'll find little pieces of laundry wrapped inside the pillow case or the fitted sheet. It's why I TRY not to wash anything with my sheets, but occasionally, I'll toss something in with them. Of course, it could have been that your socks decided to hang out in your washer/dryer and then caught the next ride with your pillowcases. ;)
