I have been cd part time and I like the fb the best s far. Are there any diapers about a trim that might be cut a little thinner between her legs? They are kind of wide in that respect.
Thanks, sorry for the serial posting. I need to make some decisions fast since she is getting this rash from pampers.

I haven't used them, but I think Swaddlebees are cut narrower in the crotch. You can get them at Naturalbabies. http://store.naturalbabies.com/products/results2.asp?Sub=248

Have you tried Swaddlebees? they are trimmer between the legs. The www.swaddlebees.com site sells seconds for fairly cheep if you wanted to try one.

Harleyz pockets are awesome - the best cut I've found, super narrow and trim. I love them - more than FBs! :) www.wahmarama.com

LOL - I decided tonight to take a measley hour just to myself, no chores, no research, no projects, no Christmas prep...so I came to the boards. :)

We are *finally* back in cloth, thanks to BBB mamas who were willing to part with great fluff! I switched to AIOs, finding pockets a nuisance now that I go to a big crowded laundromat, but sticking with pockets for night (as soon as Petra finishes them, LOL!) Still having a tough time finding a good fit - will probably post on that later -but it feels SOOOO good to be out of sposies. The only ones that didn't bother her were Huggies Supremes, and they were awful - smelly and goopy and just all-around gross.

While we were waiting for our dipes to come, I kept telling Riordan that we would soon be back in nice soft diapers, no more itchy scratchy ones.

The day the biggest package arrived (thank you Chicagomamma!!!) she opened it with me, looked at the dipes and said "No more itchy heiney??" :(

So we're happy. Now if I could only find ones that fit her...

Thanks for asking!
Jude

I too like Fuzzibunz but thought they were a little wide in the crotch. The narrowest of the pockets I have tried are Swaddlebees, but I find it SO narrow that it's hard to get my hand in to pull the inserrt all the way to the end of the diaper. It can be hard to get an insert to fit right, and you definitely have to quadfold a prefold to stuff it in. I probably would not buy another Swaddlebees.

The Harleyz are also very trim and easier to stuff, but the opening is in the front, which sometimes mean you have to touch poop when pulling the insert out. I also find Happy Heiney's to be narrower in the crotch than FB and easy to stuff, although the mediums do not seem as narrow as the smalls. Maybe my daughter is just between sizes.

I have also heard that Cuddlebuns are narrow.

I love them too, but they're one of the widest in the crotch pockets I think. They work very well for Kaya, but for some kids, they hate having so much material in between their legs.

Yay, I'm so glad you're back in cloth AND that Rory seems to like them. I love that Rory talks in complete sentences like that!

Well, when you get the time, feel free to post on the good fit--surely the mamas here can help you find some diapers that fit her! :)

I also like the Swaddlebees pockets - you can now get them in snap or aplix closure. We have Harleyz as well, but I've found that I don't like the opening for stuffing the dipe to be in the front - maybe it's just because I have a boy and it tends to be very soggy when I have to take it out - YICK!
