We still haven't landed on just the right combo at night. Ethan is really sensitive to wetness, so something fleece-lined is best, I think. We've tried FBs and Apron Strings, and I think they'd be fine except that they just don't fit him terrifically well. He does better with Aplix. Thoughts?

ETA: I know this is a little BTDT, but the search function here blows. So whaddya like best?

Are you willing to do fitted with a cover? The two best night time diapers for Kaya were Benjamuffin Nightdreamers (I would recommend medium, if I recall Ethan's size correctly) and Very Baby Simply Nights. Both are fleece lined and I put a wool cover on the outside for breathability. The Benjamuffin you can get in front aplix and I don't remember what the options are for Very Baby. For a cover, you can do the 'ole bombproof aristocrat, or you could do something more trim, like an Angeldrydiaper stretch wool wrap (my favorite for the last many months).

Ummmm, Pampers? That's the only thing that ever worked for Sarah that wasn't so immense I couldn't get PJs over it.

I second the VB Simply Nights. Luke is super heavy wetter and these work great for him. I have front snaps. I'm not sure if they make a front aplix but DO NOT get their side aplix. The design blows and they won't stay closed. Oh, and I got mine from Tallulah Baby...very good CS.

Yep, that's been our fallback. He's moving into 3's now, though, and they suck so thoroughly that I hate them. They leak and they're so coarse. Bleccch. They were better when Abby and Sarah were babies, but now, ick.
