liza's update on the dipes not fitting dylan issue

ok, so i have made ONE diaper for dylan. and one windpro cover. so my deadline (set by eileen) for making dylan some dipes was by the end of may? ok, so i am only two months late! and i owe her two dipes for kaya or lil' babe. but for the record, one is made and it is TOO big. so i will add one more row of snaps and then see. at least i have a large pattern now...

ps windpro is THICK and very weird to sew! just in case anyone was wondering.

pps can you tell i have been home alone all day with kids (an extra one for a while, in fact) and i am desperate to talk to any grown up about anything???????

Congratulations! You're doing pretty well, all things considered! The good news is that you now have a diaper that will fit him a little later. :) For the windpro, were you using heavyweight windpro? I can see why fleece in general (other than micro) would be kind of weird to sew, but with heavyweight fleece, I bet it's even harder.

And I still haven't forgotten about ST's! I just need to check my stash, but I'll get them in the mail to you!

it is midweight WP with DWR. so should be good stuff. feels plenty trim for my taste, but still thick enough to be effective. i am hoping i can use it for night with a fat dipe. i have made LJ inserts special for the pocket fitteds, so they are still "night" inserts. and i can always beef em up with a microfiber towel. dylan isn't a flooder like his brother. oh- and the one i made has micro inner and velour outer with night dipe in mind. rambling rambling... you will have to tell me what your dipe needs are now that i owe you two! :)
