My toddler is a linebacker. He's not quite two and is 37" tall and weighs almost 40lbs. He wears size 6 diapers and i have to squeeze him into the largest size of huggies swim diapers. I am looking for another option. I was thinking of a non-disposable type as the Huggies are getting expensive! I saw from other posts that people found some at Target, but said they run small.

Any ideas?

try the superlarge size of the Imse Vimse Bumpy Swim Diaper. Nathan is 34ish lbs and 38 in has plenty of room.

ditto on the bumpy swim diaper. the size large is a little too big for dylan, who is 24lbs.

I put DS in regular swim trunks without a diaper when he got too big for the swim diapers...it was a risk, but he never pooped in the pool, and even if he had, it would've been caught by the mesh pant things (I hope)...
