We just got our Fuzzibunz and I still need to run to Walmart for microfiber towels, so I just stuffed with one of the Gerber prefolds we had laying around and holy cow, it is BULKY! Will it be more trim with the microfiber? How many microfiber towels do I put in to start with (I know it will depend on DD)? Should I wash them before use (I'm guessing yes?) and how many times? Any other tips? I do like her fluffy bottom already, though it's bulky! TIA!

Prefolds are definately bulky. The microfiber towels will be better. I use the Sam's Club ones. I washed on hot 2-3 times to make sure the color wouldn't run (they are blue). I just fold one in thirds to stuff for daytime use. That will usually last up to three hours for us. If you want to use them at night, try two towels, or look into hemp inserts. Lizajane Baby has some wonderful ones that will hold alot without bulk.

Oooh yeah, a prefold is pretty bulk a riffic in a Medium, I bet! We have the blue towels, too (15 by 15 inches) and they are super trim folded in thirds with about an inch folded over in the back to fit it in.
