Does anyone use Borax when laundering CD's?

DS has such a rash lately, and I am wondering if it is the Borax I am using during my soaking phase. Any thoughts?

Sounds very likely to me. Borax can be quite harsh on the skin, just like bleach. I would stop using it and just do a cold rinse instead.
