She isn't open for customs now, but when she is I hope to get one! Anyone want to help me design it? Here are my options that I need some help on - so far we've just got Fuzzibunz, so I don't know what to choose on fitteds!

Cotton Velour or Organic Velour?

Do I need a 3 layer doubler as well?

These next 3 are only options on the Cotton Velour:
OC or Hemp filler?

Plain soaker or top soaker w/microfleece?

Ivory or colored? (Ivory is 100% cotton, Colors are a 80%/20% cotton/poly)

Any color recs are welcome, too :)

I know I'll get a Medium, front snapping. DD is not a heavy wetter, but this is my first venture into fitteds so not sure what I like yet! I don't so much care about organic/not organic, just want something soft that works well. TIA!

Allison

I LOVE my BBG fitteds. I am dying to get a bamboo one sometime. The OV is a little more luxurious than the cotton/poly velour but both are really nice. I don't know what colors she has right now but it's really fun to get the colored velour. I have both types and like both types. It really depends on what you want. I think I would go with cotton velour and get a fun color. You can always get a hand dyed OV when she puts them in stock. As far as doublers go, I always use them because I have heavy wetters but I know that people without heavy wetters don't use them. They don't cost much more so I would probably go ahead and get it because you can always use it during times when you need the diaper to be on longer even if you don't use it regularly. I have both hemp and OC and I like the OC better, but hemp is cheeper. Finally, I don't bother with the fleece topped soaker, but it's really a personal preference. HTH!

I love my BBG fitteds, too. :)

Here's my suggestions:

Cotton Velour

No doubler if you don't have a heavy wetter.

Hemp filler is my choice.

Soaker topped with microfleece.

Colors!! Hers are all so lovely!

I have a hemp from her and ordered my first velour a few months ago. It's so yummy and is still so soft. I just love it! I like the micro-topped soaker for a couple of reasons...softer on the tushie, I think, and poo comes off easier! I consider a white, but her colors are just so pretty. I ordered a doubler in my first one because ds was such a heavy wettter then! Not so much now, so I passed for the second one. Besides I figured I had a doubler I could use if need be.

HTH

The OV is cushier than the CV, but I love both. You probably won't need an extra doubler; we don't use them. I like OC filler (no hemp stink) and a velour topped soaker. The colors are pretty, we have royal blue, deep turquoise and lime green.

I looooove these dipes!

Thanks everyone! I can't wait for her to open up for customs... I am wondering though, what is "bamboo"? I hear a lot of mention of it - is it a fabric?

Cotton Velour or Organic Velour? I have both and like them equally well. The colors of the cotton velour are fun. The OV is squishier, and I like the soft neutral color. You can add fun snap and thread colors to the OV (my favorite so far is burnt orange serging and light blue snaps).

Do I need a 3 layer doubler as well? I didn't get the extra doublers, and I don't miss them.

These next 3 are only options on the Cotton Velour:
OC or Hemp filler? Mine are OC. The hemp diapers I have seem to take longer to dry. I was also worried about stink.

Plain soaker or top soaker w/microfleece? Plain. They're topped with velour and so lovely and soft!

Ivory or colored? (Ivory is 100% cotton, Colors are a 80%/20% cotton/poly) Colors if you go for the cotton velour.

I have a dozen (!!) on their way to me this week, so I can share pics of a bunch of different colors and thread/snap combos if you'd like. I'm soooo excited to get them. Jaime sent me a photo of them all together and they're gorgeous. Plus, I can stop doing laundry every day!

If you search on bamboo, I've posted some reviews and photos of our bamboo dipes. It is a wonderfully soft, absorbent fabric!!

Ooh ooh yes please post pics!! That would be wonderful! And yay for not doing laundry every day! I can relate - we only have 5 CD so far, so poor DD gets about 20 hours in cloth, then has to wear sposies til the diapers are clean again. I can't wait to only do laundry every other day! :)
