Sun bleaching "spot treatment"?

Is there something I can put on spots before sun bleaching to concentrate bleaching action?
I've got some spots on hemp liners and one one cotton diaper.
I've tried laying them out in the sun, but not sure of the method.

I used vinegar to get out some stains on a couple of Payton's onesies. They came when our city water got fouled while I was doing laundry one night. It did a pretty good job. I'd imagine it would have only been better had it been sunny in my kitchen when I left them out the next day, instead of winter grey :)

Great tip. Thanks, Hez! I sprayed the vinegar on and it seemed to be working even before I put them out in the sun. :)

Just wetting them first helps, too, and I've heard of lemon juice as another alternative.
