So far, Leah's been my chunky monkey girl, but at 6 months her growth is definitely slowing down. My other kids were skinny minis after the first few months, too (I seem to remember Karsten weighing 19 pounds for like, 8 months there when he was around age 1, lol).
So I'm predicting Petites might be a good fit on her, but I also know a super-chunk kid who slimmed down and used Larges from 7 months to age 2.5 (went from 22 pounds to maybe 30 pounds in that time)...
Has anyone been just wowed by the petite toddler size over the large? or should I order half and half? (I'm stocking up before they stick us with higher prices :P ).
She still has a lot of room to grow in her Mediums, I think, though the rise is going to be too low before she gets too wide for them.

Petite Toddler is the same size as medium, but with a longer rise. So if Mediums are fitting in the waist, but starting to show some buttcrack in the back, PT is a good size. If the medium are getting too small in the waist, go with a Large.

Logan stayed in Medium from age 6 months until age 3 when she potty trained. They got a little snug but then she changed shape and they fit again.

My DS1 was a long, skinny guy and couldn't wear large FBs until he was close to 40lbs (in our last months before PTing). I'm kinda thinking that larges are a long, long way off for you - and with EC'ing, you may never need them!

Yeah, I'm hoping the EC will help out a lot... she's been on a potty strike lately.. probably doesn't help that we've had a painter here for 2 weeks almost and I can't really just let her roll around nakey butt on the kitchen floor underneath his ladder! lol
I'll probably get a few petites, then...heck, she'd still fit in smalls if I didn't need a higher rise (bf poo is so migratory...).
And heck, nwt fb's will re-bay great.

thanks for the help!

DS2 just moved up to Larges at 15 mos. I have to put them on the smallest leg snaps, though and cross the waist snaps. Mediums are too small in the thighs for him - largest snaps and still leaving marks - so I didn't go for the PT since they show a smaller thigh measurement than the Mediums.

for my skinny guys, larges were HUGE and never fit. the waist was just gigantic and had to be crossed over when snapped. the petite toddlers were GREAT for us. schuyler just started to outgrow the legs when he PT'd.
